PROW is also working towards various development sectors after a small beginning in area of implementation, and have implemented a wide variety of projects related to watershed development, wasteland development, tribal development, low cost sanitation, alternate energy sources, self-help groups, vocational training to youth, and women empowerment, child rights for change, reproductive child health care, quality education in Varanasi, Chandauli, Sonebhadra and Mirzapur of Uttar Pradesh State and Kaimur district of Bihar in India. While implementing different developmental projects, thrust of PROW has always been on working through people’s participation and is being always believed in the capacities and capabilities of the communities, and striving to channel their hidden energies for the betterment of society at large.

Corporate - Research and Data management


The PROW has a strong and dedicated research, data collection, data processing and analytic professionals’ team who have on average ten years of industry experience in specific areas. A wide knowledge and experience make us timely deliverable to the client and provide us a number of opportunities to prove ourselves. DATA Collection Team is present in almost all the states of INDIA which makes us timely completion of the given task. The PROW team is majorly present in NORTH, NORTH EAST, EAST, SOUTHERN INDIA. Our analytical team is equipped with a variety of statistical software skills which makes us competent for any urgent analytical task. The PROW professionals have vast experience in conducting studies incorporating the above research methods. Our strengths are the judicious application of the above methods and a well-developed analysis plan that will be adapted to various situations and will also be attested by our clients' self-assessments. For more than the past five years, The PROW has also entered into program implementation due to which the organization's professionals are being successfully implemented the agri-business, sustainable agriculture and horticulture, animal husbandry, sustainable livelihoods, food nutrition and health, education, and child development related programs by using various techniques and their extensive knowledge.

The PROW’s key strength lies in the familiarity and extensive knowledge of its professionals in advanced research and analytics techniques applicable in different contexts. Various methods of research that PROW professionals often use include the following:

The PROW has four wings Consultants and project collaborators, Research, Field Unit and Data Analysis and management working in close coordination with each other. PROW besides having a panel of more than 50 field investigators has a panel of consultants/technical experts and collaborating organizations on a project basis. Government Partnerships

Partnership with NABARD and its group Organisations, Ministry of Cooperative, Govt of Uttarpradesh

PROW is one of the preferred partner of NABARD. NABARD is India’s apex development bank, established in 1982 under an Act of Parliament under the Ministry of Cooperative, to promote sustainable and equitable agriculture and rural development. In its journey of more than four decades, the premier development financial institution has transformed lives in Indian villages through agri-finance, infrastructure development, banking technology, promotion of microfinance and rural entrepreneurship through SHGs & JLGs and more. It continues to aid in nation-building through participative financial and non-financial interventions, innovations, technology and institutional development in rural areas.For more than the past five years, The PROW has also entered into program implementation due to which the organization's professionals have successfully implemented the agri-business, sustainable agriculture and horticulture, animal husbandry, sustainable livelihoods, food nutrition and health, education, and child development related programs by using various techniques and their extensive knowledge.

Infrastructure Facilities

Infrastructure Facilities available with PROW’s Research Wing New Delhi

The PROW’s research Wing has latest Pentium processor-based computers with multimedia capabilities and software support along with other communication equipment for undertaking analysis of research projects.

The software computing tools available at The PROW’s research Wing includes standard word processing packages, spread sheets, relational database management systems (RDBMS) like oracle and sophisticated statistical analysis packages like SAS, SPSS for handling advanced analytical solutions.

The PROW has qualified system professionals with knowledge of both software and hardware aspects. All professionals of PROW have working knowledge of statistical analysis packages like SPSS, some of them have Certification & experience in SAS and spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel etc. PROW’s Research Wing also has necessary arrangements for data entry and management.

PROW analytics team has capability to do Univariate, Bivariate and Multivariate analysis using SPSS and SAS like statistical software.

Likewise PROW's Action Oriented Wing has its own office building at Varanasi with Vehicle, Computer system, well equipped Library, Training equipment and other office equipments. PROW is also having a Advisory panel working as a Expert of the different Thematic area for strengthening the activities.

Network For Field Control & Reporting System

Research Wing

PROW has a strong network in metro cities, semi-metros and states to complete the field on time. PROW Field Network includes Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Guwahatti, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow and Varanasi. PROW is open to increase its infrastructure and human resources or setting up a new office anywhere in India if a long term project is assigned to PROW.

Field Control & Reporting System

Fieldwork is headed by the National Project Manager, in New Delhi and regular field updates about data collection make us able to handle any difficulty during field work and complete the work on time. Every day reporting system is followed by investigators and supervisors to the state coordinators and state coordinators update the National Manager twice a week about data collection and quality checks through which we can manage any urgency at any point of time.

Quality Control in Research Wing

PROW team member always focused on quality of data collected from the respondents and to control the quality of collected data we follow the steps to cover up 20 percent back check. Supervisors/Coordinators have given responsibility to check the quality of 10 percent data collected from field by physical visit before submitting it to the office and office staffs have responsibility to check rest of 10 percent data through which we assure that at least 20 percent is correctly captured and has required information. PROW analytics team has responsibility to check rest of the data for its accuracy and perfection.

Management and Planning of PROW

The PROW is strengthening its planning, monitoring and evaluation functions and its human resources, finances and administrative management for positive results of the PROW process on internal improvement. A predictable year PROW has progressed in standardising the planning process, as well as the emphasis is on need for further improvement in building the capacity of members to begin and provide guidance on outcomes, planning and monitoring as well as lessons learned and generation of best practices.

Quality Management of Action Oriented Wing of PROW

Functionality - It is important for especially diagnostic devices whether the program operation is as practicable as expected.

Performance - The PROW’s programs designing to support extreme conditions and emphasizing low maintenance requirements for reducing costs to the community and increases its sustainability.

Reliability - it is the ability of the service or Project to perform as intended under normal conditions without unacceptable failures. The materials used for the PROW's program are able to reliably provide information that helps identify critical problems.

Relevance - it is the characteristic of how to meet the PROW's Program or service as per actual needs of the beneficiaries, and how it should be relevant, applicable and appropriate for its intended use or application.

Timeliness - how to the PROW's Program activities or services to be delivered in time due to which it can be resolved the problems when its needed.

Suitability - it is appropriateness and correctness in which the PROW's Project equipment must be designed to operate the conditions on which the beneficiary can use it.

Completeness - it covers the full range of services in which the quality of service is completed. For example, the completion of the training session should include all the material required to build the desired skill or knowledge.

Consistency - PROW's Program activities or services are delivered in the similar way for every beneficiary / every community member
