More Than Just A Social Help

Progressive Research Organization for Welfare (PROW) is an autonomous Research and Development consultancy Organization, PROW was set by a team of experienced, eminent and young Professionals with a capability to provide a wide range of research and consultancy services in wide areas including community Development, Environment Management, Feasibility & Situation Analysis, Project and Program Evaluations and Market Research.


PROW is also working towards various development sectors after a small beginning in area of implementation, and have implemented a wide variety of projects related to watershed development, wasteland development, tribal development, low cost sanitation, alternate energy sources, self-help groups, vocational training to youth, and women empowerment, child rights for change, reproductive child health care, quality education in Varanasi, Chandauli, Sonebhadra and Mirzapur of Uttar Pradesh State and Kaimur district of Bihar in India. While implementing different developmental projects, thrust of PROW has always been on working through people’s participation and is being always believed in the capacities and capabilities of the communities, and striving to channel their hidden energies for the betterment of society at large.

PROW is always striving towards creating an environment which is conducive to enhance the opportunities for the local people to think and act positively. PROW is always striving to develop the skills and competencies of the local communities to enable them to operate and maintain the assets created through the implementation of projects on a sustainable basis.

The PROW professionals have vast experience in conducting studies incorporating the above research methods. Our strengths are the judicious application of the above methods and a well-developed analysis plan that will be adapted to various situations and will also be attested by our clients' self-assessments. For more than the past five years, The PROW has also entered into program implementation due to which the organization's professionals are being successfully implemented the agri-business, sustainable agriculture and horticulture, animal husbandry, sustainable livelihoods, food nutrition and health, education, and child development related programs by using various techniques and their extensive knowledge.

Management and Planning of PROW

The PROW is strengthening its planning, monitoring and evaluation functions and its human resources, finances and administrative management for positive results of the PROW process on internal improvement. A predictable year PROW has progressed in standardising the planning process, as well as the emphasis is on need for further improvement in building the capacity of members to begin and provide guidance on outcomes, planning and monitoring as well as lessons learned and generation of best practices.

Quality Management of Action Oriented Wing of PROW

Functionality - It is important for especially diagnostic devices whether the program operation is as practicable as expected.

Performance - The PROW’s programs designing to support extreme conditions and emphasizing low maintenance requirements for reducing costs to the community and increases its sustainability.

Reliability - it is the ability of the service or Project to perform as intended under normal conditions without unacceptable failures. The materials used for the PROW's program are able to reliably provide information that helps identify critical problems.

Relevance - it is the characteristic of how to meet the PROW's Program or service as per actual needs of the beneficiaries, and how it should be relevant, applicable and appropriate for its intended use or application.

Timeliness - how to the PROW's Program activities or services to be delivered in time due to which it can be resolved the problems when its needed.

Suitability - it is appropriateness and correctness in which the PROW's Project equipment must be designed to operate the conditions on which the beneficiary can use it.

Completeness - it covers the full range of services in which the quality of service is completed. For example, the completion of the training session should include all the material required to build the desired skill or knowledge.

Consistency - PROW's Program activities or services are delivered in the similar way for every beneficiary / every community member
